A handmade thank you doesn’t have to be complicated to feel special. This simple fall thank you card combines warm autumn colors, green gingham, and two punched leaves for a thoughtful way to brighten someone’s day.

I used Golden Glow, Peaceful Pine, and Cajun Craze for this card. They make such a pretty fall combination, and the gingham adds a cozy touch!

Handmade simple fall thank you card with green gingham paper, layered arches, green and gold leaves, and Linen Thread on a Golden Glow cardbase.

Simple Fall Thank You Card with Pretty Layers

A strip of the 2026–2028 In Color Designer Series Paper gives this card a little pattern without covering the whole card front. I added a narrow Peaceful Pine mat to help the gingham stand out against the Golden Glow cardbase.

The layered Everyday Arches shapes create a spot for the leaves and greeting. Cajun Craze frames the Basic White arch and ties the warm fall colors together.

I love a layout that lets a few simple pieces do the work. You don’t need to use every supply on your craft table to make something pretty!

Stamp, Punch, and Finish

The leaves were made with the Simply Leaves Bundle. I stamped the details in matching ink on Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow cardstock, then used the coordinating punch to punch them out.

A few wraps of Linen Thread add a soft finishing touch across the leaf stems. I used Dimensionals behind the arches to give the finished panel a little lift.

The “Thanks” greeting keeps this card ready for so many occasions—a thoughtful favor, a kind neighbor, or someone who simply made your day better.
