This Merry Christmas reindeer card might be the sweetest card in my Christmas stack. There’s something about a reindeer holding his own sign that just makes people smile — this little guy from the Cutest Crew Bundle is holding a “Merry Christmas” sign, complete with a big red nose, and he does all the work on this card. The rest is simple layers and pretty paper, and the best part? It’s easier to make than it looks.

A Simple Layout That Lets the Reindeer Shine
The layout is two strips of Subtles Painted Patterns paper on a Real Red mat, with a Basic White panel in the center. A little Pool Party ink blended behind the reindeer gives him a soft glow, and a wrap of Real Red & White Baker’s Twine with three sparkle sequins finishes it off. Nothing fancy — just layers, and the reindeer does the talking.
The Supplies for This Merry Christmas Reindeer Card
The star of the show is the Cutest Crew Bundle — the stamp set and the coordinating die that cuts the reindeer out for you. The rest is basics you probably already have: Pool Party, Real Red, and Basic White cardstock, a couple of ink pads, and your Stampin’ Blends to color him in. The Subtles Painted Patterns paper adds the polka dots, and a little twine and a few sequins finish it off. If you don’t have the exact paper, any patterned paper you love will work.
Easy to Recreate with What You Have
You don’t need to buy everything on the list to make this card. If you already have cardstock and ink in your stash, use what you’ve got — the layout works with any colors. Swap the polka-dot paper for a Christmas print you already own, change the twine to ribbon, or use a different greeting on the sign. And if you’d rather have the exact supplies, the button below takes you straight to everything I used.
Make This Merry Christmas Reindeer Card Your Own
Change the paper, change the greeting on the sign, or swap in a different cute critter — the layout stays the same. That’s the beauty of a simple layout: the card changes, but the pieces you loved still work.
