Some friends just feel like sunshine, don’t they? This sunflower friendship card is a cheerful way to let an old friend know you’re thinking about them—no special occasion needed!

The greeting, “Old friends are the best friends,” makes this card especially sweet. And those little ladybugs? They’re the finishing touch that makes me smile.

A Simple Sunflower Friendship Card Layout

This card pairs an embossed Basic White panel with Regals Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper. A narrow Cherry Cobbler strip brings the two sections together and gives the flowers a place to stand out.

I used the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the white panel. Colored pencils bring the flowers and leaves to life, while the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes add a playful touch.

The greeting and coordinating label die are from the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle.

What I like about this layout is how easy it is to reuse. Change the patterned paper, swap the flowers for another favorite image, or choose a different greeting. You don’t have to start from scratch every time you sit down to make a card!
