Welcome to the September blog hop featuring Sale-a-bration items!!

Who is up for a Fall challenge?

My downline challenged me to make a card for the Tech4Stampers blog hop. I had to use the Thinking Thanks & Peace & the Textures and Frames stamp sets. So I knew right away that I would make a fall card and use it for the Tech4Stampers Blog Hop featuring Sale-A-Bration items. One of the requirements for the challenge from my downline was I couldn’t use DSP. Ok, so if you know me I love, love, love my DSP. I mean you get some DSP, a matching colored cardstock, matching ink, and a stamp set, and viola – you have a card. So this was definitely out of my comfort zone but the challenge was accepted. It’s kinda like when you were a kid and you were double-dog-dared. You have to do it right?

I figured with the weather getting crisper and the days are getting shorter, now is a great time to start working on beautiful fall cards. Fall is absolutely one of my favorite seasons. Nothing like a cool chill in the air while sitting around a campfire. Ok, so back to the card. I picked out a few of my favorite Fall colors and just started lining them up. I knew the Sending Thanks stamp would be the perfect stamp to go all the way across my card. And with the beautiful wheat on the end, it just screamed fall.

I hope you enjoy the card and it gets you to start thinking about making your fall cards.
