The Forever Fern has to be one of my favorite stamp sets. We had a family friend pass away and I knew right away that I would be using the Forever Fern set. I hate to make sympathy cards but they are one of those cards that we should always have on hand.

Forever Fern is one of those stamp sets that can be used on so many different occasions. It can make a great sympathy card, or a wedding card or just a sweet thinking of you card.
Forever Fern Sympathy

With this card I stamped one of the images directly on the basic white cardstock. I also stamped the image two more times and cut them out using the dies in the bundle. I glued one of the cutouts to the side of the stamped image and then I used dimensionals to add one more layer. That way it gave the leaves a little 3D look. I LOVED the way it turned out. I also stamped some leaves in two of the corners with Sahara Sand to just give it that little something something!

This card looks great with the Merry Merlot and the Sahara Sand but I have also done it with Gray Granite and Merry Merlot. I couldn’t decide which way was my favorite combination. Do you have a favorite color combination?
