Hello, and welcome to the Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop. The theme for this month is Welcome. Making a Welcome card for this blog hop was an easy choice. With the new release of the Butterfly Bouquet and the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper (DSP). I knew right away I would make a welcome card for my new recruit, who joined my team.

Having not done a blog hop in years I was so ready to jump back into joining one. Blog hops are a great way to check out so many other great stampers. There will be lots of ideas in this blog hop for Welcome cards. Make sure to check out everyone’s blog.

Butterfly Bouquet makes some of the best welcome cards. Especially when the die cut these beautiful butterflies out of the DSP.

Welcome Card for the blog hop

When I saw the So Saffron butterfly I knew exactly the colors that I would use. My favorite color to match with So Saffron is Basic Black because they are the colors of my favorite collegiate Football team the Iowa Hawkeyes. We have three colleges here in Iowa but as a family, we follow the Hawkeyes.

These beautiful butterflies on the DSP have such real-looking detail. Stampin’ Up! made one of them dies a single die, so it cuts the butterflies out of the DSP. What a great idea so you don’t have to fussy cute those butterflies.

The stamp that goes along with this bundle is one big stamp. So when you stamp one time you get a group of butterflies. Coloring each one a different color would make a wonderful colorful set. Stampin’ Up! blends or coloring pencils would be a great option for coloring. I personally love to color as I can take it on the go with me. Especially when I am waiting for my grandkids or anytime I have free time is a great time to color to pass the time.
