Today I am blogging from Texas. We are all here from Iowa visiting our daughter who is stationed in Texas. Both she and her husband are in the Air Force. It has been a whirlwind but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
This is a quick and easy card to make when you need to make a bunch of thank you’s for all those Christmas gifts you received. Still has that winter feel but not a Christmas feel.
The background is stamped with smoky slate and I used Night of Navy on the greeting. Ran a piece of Night of Navy through the big shot using the cable knit embossing folder. Then I cut the mittens out with the Smitten Mittens die cut. At first, I put the mittens on plain but they were just missing something, this gives them just that little bit of texture I believe.
